This charming vessel goes by many names, including Varaskål, børyskål, åbrukopp, and "Jealousy Bowl." Used in the 18th and 19th centuries, this wooden drinking vessel has a hole through its center that the user can peer through while drinking, to keep an eye on other party guests!

Image Description: Angled birds eye views of a circular bowl with a hole through its middle. Both the inner and outer rims are painted green, while the bowl's depths and sides are painted orange. The contour grooves of the spring pole lathe are still visible.
